The article highlights Dave McGillivray who is the race director for the Boston Marathon. Dave, despite running 10 miles a day, was recently diagnosed with coronary heart disease, something he never thought possible.
Recent studies show that no matter how much you exercise, diet plays a pivotal role in your health and even endurance training & racing increases the risk of certain cardio-respiratory ailments over the general population.
