I have been working out with Kurt for a little over a year and a half. Before we met, I was in a workout rut. I would do my nightly routine and that was it. I knew I wanted more but I was inexperienced and nervous about using the machines at the gym. I decided that I would take a few of Kurt’s classes to learn how to use the equipment. I immediately loved Kurt’s knowledge, expertise, motivation, and his attitude towards his job.
I didn’t just take a few of his classes, I have been with him for 20 months taking weekly classes and every class is something different. Kurt has a great ability of knowing when to get me out of my comfort zone and when I need to pull back and let injuries rest.
Kurt’s commitment to his clients is amazing. In the Spring of 2013, five women from Kurt’s class decided we were going to do a local Fitathlon Challenge, which is a 5k with obstacles. Kurt found out what the obstacles would be, and for months before the event, incorporated similar exercises into our classes so we would be prepared. The day of the event, Kurt was our cheerleader, running right alongside us and cheering us on at each obstacle. I was so impressed that he took a Saturday and spent it with a group of middle-aged women. That is true commitment and just one of his qualities that make him excel at his job.
